We care about your trees.
In the tree business it's important to understand the latest pruning and cutting techniques for the sake of tree health and safety. It's also pertinent in our trade to keep up on current disease and insect problems. Whether it's a current fungus, a new invasive insect, or a blight that may be affecting our trees, proper treatment is essential to the health of any tree and our environment.
We have years of education, training and experience that allows us to give the homeowner a proper evaluation in the diagnosis of trees. Whatever the prognosis is, we follow through with a site evaluation in order to provide a service that everyone is comfortable with.
Bud Neal, owner of Neal Tree Service, has been in business for approximately 50 years. He started as a logger in Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut. He earned the title of Certified Arborist and has done extensive studies through a variety of universities and education entities. He is an officer and currently President of the board of directors of the Connecticut Tree Protective Association. He also serves on the Safety Committee, Education Committee and is Chairman of the Connecticut Tree Climbing Competition Committee.
He's been a long time member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Tree Care Industry Association.
There are so many variables in nature. Trees can be complicated and sometimes the analysis of a tree takes an expert eye. With our training we can analyse what's wrong with your trees and let you know your options.
You should only trust your trees to arborists. Without proper training additional damage can be done to a tree if it's not pruned properly. Cabling will help in certain circumstances to prevent a tree from damaging a structure or falling apart in a bad storm. We're happy to come out and give a free estimate or just our opinion of what needs to be done to the trees on your property.
When there's no choice but to take a tree down, we will remove it. Whether it's storm damaged, or a danger to your loved ones, we will cut it down, remove the debris and grind the stump if you'd like.
Once we remove a tree we can give suggestions to what other trees will grow in its spot or in another area. We will pick one out for you and plant it so it will last a life time. More times than I care to admit, non-arborists will plant a tree for a client and a few years later we are called out to determine what's wrong with the tree. Many of the problems of trees planted on properties are because of the way a tree was planted. We like to think we can encourage a long life of a tree if we plant it.
We offer commercial and residential plowing with many years experience. Give us a call so we can look at the job and give you an estimate.
